Cameroon Tobby Vocational Training Center

Designed for Action Lab for Development (ACTLAB) in Bambui, Cameroon. The Tobby Vocational Training Center supports development by building on the potential of local innovators. Their organization aims to address: Food Security, Advocacy, and Education through much-needed training programs for over 400 vulnerable youths. Located around a partially sheltered courtyard, the new campus building offers a variety of classroom and workshop spaces. While allowing natural ventilation to pass through, a suspended roof provides shade during the hot and dry seasons as well as relief during the rainy season. There is also a shared library available to all students, as well as offices, conference rooms, and support facilities.
